Really happy about the Sanson signing, looks a very accomplished player.
I think he has been brought in to replace Barkley, I feel the coaches at VP have looked at the stats, age, injury record and cost etc, and think he is the better option.
I have to agree if that is the case, I just hope Grealish feels the same way, and looks at it realistically rather than the friendship factor.

Just looking on other sites Dave, and there is some debate as to whether Sanson will have enough points to get his Governing Body Endorsement ( GBE) . This is the new system for foreign players coming to English clubs now following the end of the Brexit transition period.
You would hope that all of this was looked into before sealing the deal, let’s hope so anyway.
Could any of the Ed’s give us a bit of clarity on this?
{Ed002's Note - My understanding from the Marseille representative is that there will not be any issues related to the Work Permit regardless of the changes that have been made to the system. She tells me that she has an agreement and that Pini has a little work to do to complete everything from his part. She is now focussed on a replacement having lost out on their first choice target.}

Romain Faivre, a much younger and less experienced player, cheaper as well, so fingers crossed.
