Mings deprived the watching millions of the flair and talent of Traore. He let fans and team mates down alike.

Agree0 Disagree0

No, Anthony Taylor did. How did he yellow card Mings for Zaha being a petulant child? The second one was debatable and the first one just isn't, ever.

Why did Mings receive the first yellow card though?
He didn’t commit a foul and it was Zaha who was clearly the aggressor. Mings was merely trying to fend him off.

We should play with 10 men more often Villa 3 CP 0.

An excellent, well deserved win despite a diabolical refereeing decision 👍🥳.

Once you receive a yellow card wether it's fair or not you have to be careful to avoid letting your team down and make sure you don't get another, the second card was avoidable.

Think 99% of villa fans know what happened with Mings, second booking is definitely a yellow, first is a disgrace, Anthony Taylor attempted to ruin the game. Unlucky for him the quality shone through!

The Rotterdam Ronaldo at it again!
Grealish Brilliant!
Ollie energy just what we needed when down to ten and Target never put a foot wrong!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sorry Scot but that's where the difference between Konsa and Hause is. Hause was so far away that Mings actually didn't have a choice for the second. He so was simply battling for the ball after he originally headed it which is where the debate comes in.
Konsa would gave covered allowing Mings the trust factor.

I have read it all know, it was Hause fault Mings was sent off, I thought he was superb and deserves praise not criticism. We definitely weren't weaker at the back when Mings went off, quite the contrary.

Never in a million years is it Hause fault for Mings getting sent off. But criticism of Mings is very harsh, some will always look for a negative or a scape goat,

Hause had a good game, don't get me wrong but at the same time Konsa covers better giving Mings that confidence to let someone go.
Everyone has different strengths and Mings did what he felt he needed to do considering how far Hause was away.
I've already argued Mings shouldn't have been off and with it being 1-0 at the time it was probably the best choice for Mings in all honesty.
For me the only mistake Mings really made was the opening chance for Zaha when he could have just poked the ball rather than turning. Other than that I can't recall anyone making a bad mistake.
