Hi SV, good question mate, I would go for Elmo, only for the fact he crosses the ball better, and we need to get the ball to Watkins.
If it was away from home I would of said Fred.

Elmo because I reckon Watkins would thrive off the deep crosses round the back of the defence.

I really don’t rate elmo to slow for me. However facing Burnley who will sit back I think it would be good having him put balls in the box.

Assuming he's fully fit, I'd go with Guilbert. First order against Burnley is to physically compete and stop the supply from wide areas, which he is much better than Elmo at. I see the point about Elmo's delivery but this is exactly the sort of game Villa have struggled with so far, so first thing is to get the back four doing the basics. Then we need to trust our forward players to get the job done.

Guilbert is like Targett and while he gets himself about he isn't effective at preventing crosses and is liable to get beaten at the far post.
Elmo is more savvy and a better header of the ball. Burnley wingers aren't lightning quick so wouldn't really need Fred's pace either.

Great debate guys, I myself just shade towards Guilbert but there's not much in it. He didn't do much wrong last season and think he's a tad better defending wingers than Elmo.
