I’m in agreement 150 million or bust, I see the argument he might not be worth that to another club and in this C.V. especially but he’s worth it to us staying in the league and performing well so why should we sell him for less than we want he’s signed for 5 years which brings him up to 30 years old, it’s going to take a few years for things to come right after C.V. so we got plenty time to sort ourselves out without selling out heart and soul.

It will be really interesting to see what Southgate does now, particularly when Rashford and Sterling are fit. I think he will persist with 3 centre backs because he doesn’t believe we can cope with playing a two he has tried various combinations Maguire, Dier, Stones, Walker, Coady and Mings and he doesn’t appear happy with any of them If he stays with 3 at the back I think he needs a radical re think because if he remains with 4 in midfield and 3 up top then with everyone fit the 3 forward players will be Kane, Rashford and Sterling that being the case with Chilwell and Alexander Arnold providing the width you have two central midfield berths available one will go to either Henderson, Rice or Phillips in the holding role the other will be between Mount and Jack. Based on what we have seen with this system to date it isn’t the most creative of formations so your bound to wonder whether he opts for the most creative midfielder in the league at the moment in Jack or opt for Mason Mount. Form dictates he should opt for Jack but will he? I wonder!
