Somebody posed this question on the Vital Villa site today. Is Ollie better than Tammy?
My personal opinion is that he is. I think he works harder, has a better first touch, holds the ball up better, runs with the ball at feet better, and generally shows more intelligence on the pitch with his movement and distribution. In terms of chance taking they are both excellent, but I think for all round ability and contribution to the team, Ollie gets the verdict for me.

Personally I think Ollie is a better all round player mate.

Ollie for me. For a pacey striker his hold up play is excellent and the fact he can score all types of goals gives him the edge.

For me it's really very close. 2 talented strikers and just imagine what they could do together as 2 up top.

Very close, Tammy seems to go on runs of scoring, one in this game, two in the next. Watkins has what 6 goals this season, in seven games, but them goals have come in three games.
Both have there negatives and positives, best thing for me with Watkins is even when he’s having a bad game he sticks with it, doesn’t silk and still believes in himself. How many strikers have we had over the last few years where a few wayward passes or loose touches and they just sulk for the rest of the game.
