Yes, that`s my point, he is of no use to us, but we should be getting some of our investment back, surely we should have got 2 mil for him.

I believe he only had 8 moths left on his contract so the chances were that he would probably leave on a free anyway.

I think Purslow and Smith have already openly addressed this issue. It can't be turned around over night but with the recent purchases we're slowly turning the corner and in a season or two will hopefully have a squad full of value from the market and youth from within to make us far more sustainable. Just need a little more time and patience.
