Re the Bertrand Traore links, if this has some substance to it, it would be a fantastic signing. I'm basing this on what I saw of him when he played for Chelsea and I was extremely impressed-fast, tricky and knows where the goal is.
Don't know much about him since his move to France but I'm sure Mark would be able to shed some light on this.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have watched him a few times online Moose, and he is a great player mate, he can turn an a-hole inside out.
He is very quick and direct, and he knows where the onion bag is.

In many respects he’s similar to his namesake at Wolves, I certainly wouldn’t want to pick a winner over a 50 mètre sprint. He was outstanding for Lyon a few seasons ago, scoring and creating a lot of goals, at times he was unplayable. I’ve seen a lot less of him more recently though as he has been spending a lot of the time on the bench. There are a lot of quality strikers / wide players currently at Lyon. It does surprise me that he’s been pushed out somewhat, because of the outstanding season he had, maybe he’s not Garcia’s tasse de thé.
There is a rumour that Chelsea inserted a buy back clause in the sale agreement ( possibly no longer valid), I don’t know.
He is only 25, and if he could repeat the form he showed a few seasons ago, then 20 million would be a bargain.

As you say Mark, you are never going to be every managers cup of tea, and you sometimes end up getting your nose pushed out.
As you say, on his day he is a very good player, and should be a plus for us if true.

If we are looking at Harry Wilson, Buendia or Traoré for the right wing berth ( all around the 20 million mark), I would go with Traoré every time Dave.

Like I say Mark, all the times I have seen him he is some player, so I would have to agree with you, get him in.

If we are signing Traore, Rashica and Martinez we will have spent our £100 million budget, and I am therefore assuming that we will not be pursuing either Edouard, Brewster or any other forward for that matter, because we won’t have the funds. Even if we are able to sell a few I don’t think that will be enough to fund those type of moves.

John, we will be able to fund those players if Grealish goes but I am willing to accept DS’s decision on that either way.
