Why is everyone so worked up over a player that is clearly no required by the England selectors.
Its football, its disappointment, so what.
We all know Jack can be brilliant one week, and the next he plays like a pub player with a hangover.
He has never been an odds on consistent performer, and he will slow things down somewhat when quick is better.
We might see a different approach from the selectors, with another season under his belt.
So I think we should all calm down, and accept the decision that has been made.

Ok, I take your point, but I am trying to put things into perspective here.
You think its a disgrace, some think its an error of judgement, some think its the right decision.
I personally don`t care if he is in or out.

I'm just flummoxed how everyone in the football world thinks Grealish should be in the team, not just the squad, except for the England camp.
Not a single explanation makes sense. Played consistently high standard in the Premier League, better stats in all areas than almost all of the other options, off field 'issues' no worse than anyone else.
I gave up on England a long time ago. Its obviously a boys club where nobody has the cojones to just say they either want players from champions league clubs only or just admit they don't like certain players and don't plan on ever picking them.
I would say I'm happy it means he can stay fit for us but it may just lead to him forcing a move.

I too am flummoxed rk, that there are Villa supporters who are not giving our best player support on this matter. In fact it seems to me, he’s getting more support from people outside of this club, and that is the sort of situation that could sway which way Jack turns.
If his own supporters think Southgate has got it right and his own supporters refuse to turn the page and forgive him for his off field antics, then just maybe he might think it’s time to draw a line under it all, and move on to pastures new for a fresh start.
His stats for last season more than met what Southgate asked of him, so surely therefore he merits an opportunity.
Others have been given their opportunities for achieving less. In Kalvin Phillips’ case apparently premier league experience is irrelevant 🤷â€â™‚ï¸
As for his off field antics, ok he’s been no angel, however has he ever walked onto a football pitch half sloshed?
There was a certain individual in the past that used to do just that, but did anybody bat an eyelid?
No, but of course he was God, so it didn’t matter.

Mark, supporters are venting their views on a situation that is a total distraction from Villa`s own internal problems mate, he has not been picked, so what.
To be honest I wish Grealish would move on mate, if he doesn`t fine, we still have a good player on our books.
The talk and hype about this bloke could be doing more damage to us as a club than we can imagine.
