Ok guys now we know whose promoted let's indulge in a bit of Fantasy football😊 You are Villas manager you have persuaded Jack to stay (sorry Dave! ) and you have £100million to spend on a maximum of 4 players. Who are you signing? (try to keep it realistic) estimate the fee and why are you signing them.
So for me my 4 are:
CB Stones £20 million
Winger Benrahma £25 -30 million
Winger Sarr £30 million
Forward Ihenacho £20 -25million
So when the new season starts I would line up
Heaton
Guilbert Stones Mings Targett
Luiz McGinn
Sarr Grealish Benrahma
Ihenacho
Subs Nyland, Konsa, Hourihane, Wesley Barry, Ramsey, Hause.
I believe the starting eleven picked addresses a number of problems we had this season it gives us a a striker who can score goals, wingers with pace and skill who are able to create and reduce the pressure on Jack and at centre back someone to put real pressure on Mings and Konsa for there places. The signings are young and I think fit the boards intention of buying players they can sell on for a profit when the time comes.
If I am honest I like Ings and Saint Maximin but I don't think either to be realistic or even if they were they would blow too much of my budget ðŸ™.

Benrahma is a choker, get Dan James from Man Utd. For some much needed pace.

Good options my only issue with them is benrahma, for me, is to much of a gamble. So is Eze but i think we could get him for 10/ 15mill less then Benrahma.

I like it John! Would hope for a little more quality on the bench, wouldn’t be much to come on abc change a game there.

Chris re the bench trying to balance the need for strength with bringing through some of the academy products however we can address squad depth next transfer window all things being well 😊.
