Lets try and look at the league rather than the performance.
We have now got on the same points as Bmouth and Hammers. Same games also.
Goal difference is spoiling the picture at present but getting closer.
The closure of grounds is the same for every team but VP is like a funeral parlour without the crowd and no end of "play back" can create the VP atmosphere.
I would like the volume turned up to reflect our VP on a match day.
The picture is still poor but getting better.
Smith is lost in the headlights like a rabbit. He is unable to change the pattern that he has set out.
We all thought that he was the guiding light for Brentford but without him they are still getting results, perhaps it was Franks doing the business
Nice Man but not Prem ready and unlikely to ever be ready.
Too late to change him this season but he definitely will not be at VP after the season ends regardless of our final position.
Our owners have the funds to find us a new manager for next season but who will want to manage a side in the champs?
I would dearly like to see Pochitino arrive. He is still out of work and might, just might, be bought with the vision that Swaris and Edens have for Aston Villa. Europe or bust.
The only other way we will get into Europe is if we can get a couple of our showbiz pals to compose the winning song in Eurovision.

I think we need a touch of realism here if we get rid of Smith we are not going to get Poch even if we stay in the premiershipI certainly don’t want the usual names on the managerial merry go round like Allardyce for example and I don’t see to many bright young things who could do the job after all that’s what we thought we had in Smith.

No1 ever thought Smith was prem class he's champ ship manager at best.

I think we had our chance to replace Smith during lockdown and failed to take it. We could have put an enticing deal together for some managers, keep it up and you'll have X to spend, fail and their is a relegation clause. I'd just like to have seen something new from the club and the team that shows me things were considered over the break, sadly I don't.
