Scotty mate, that is exactly what happened with me mate.
I said he (002) was wrong over FFP, and he gagged me, even suggested I was abusive, again untrue.
My sentiments exactly concerning Ed033, if it was not for him, I would be in the wilderness now, with a very tarnished image.

Hi Dave, I sincerely think this could be a watershed moment, I think some of the latest comments which in the main have been constructive. I have had my say and really did not expect my last post criticing 002 to get on here.
So 033 seems have adopted a conciliatory tone and perhaps this could be a way forward. So let's give it a go, so Dave i am going to give it another go, I hope others may follow suit.
I don't intend to get involved in politics or matters unrelated to football, I will however continue to comment any failings, shortcomings or successes of my beloved club. So if and when we start again when it's both safe and sensible to do so, I hope we can have both variety and varied views on Aston Villa football club.
So guys let's try and continue with football banter and I will kick off with, WE MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY OUR REMAINING OUTSTANDING HOME GAMES AT VILLA PARK. So guys keep safe and give the good EDs a platform to keep us going.

Thank you for your reply Scotty, and to some degree I can see your point.
If all editors were like Ed033, I am 100% sure this would not have happened, so it is a great shame in that respect.
Unfortunately, it has happened to me on more than one occasion, and I have even had my posts doctored, in an effort to make me sound vindictive and worse.
It is unfair, and can be damaging to your character, and that I will not tolerate.
Maybe something could be put in place, whereby, given editor on receiving your post, can give you the option to maybe rephrase your comment, then re-submit to make your point.
{Ed033's Note - This site is for talking about Aston villa and football in general. Your opinion on football doesn't need to be 'rephrased'.

Ed, Surely it does mate, especially if someone is swearing or abusive in their reply.
If it gets binned, because of that, their point or opinion is missed, so debates just end there.
