I have to post my thoughts on this really absurd idea of football coming back in 6 weeks time? .
As you know from my post yesterday that I only just survived myself and I thank god I did.
I have 4 close members of my family including myself who have being in intensive care fighting this terrible virus.
My granddaughter who is 31 had the last rites from the priest but amazingly got through it.
All this talk of football coming back so early is ridiculous.
It's only about money they are concerned about that's fact.
Just cancel the season and if liverpool get the title awarded
And villa are relegated as it stands so be it unfortunately.
I'm a massive villa fan but to hear some on the radio saying last night that football needs to come back to put smiles back on the fans.
Try saying that to all the people who have lost children, grandparents,
Wife's and husbands.
I'm sure football is the last thing they want to see.
We are in a horrible dark place and I have seen the faces in the hospital who can't say goodbye to there family and its heartbreaking to see believe me.
We are still losing 500-700 every day to this virus so how can we talk about football at this time.
I pray this goes away as quick as it appeared.
Must get this into perspective lives are more important than money.
Are we really going to risk a footballer to pass it on to his family? .

Well said Mainbob if only the powers that be could think so rationally instead of it being about £s no amount of money can replace a loved one. You and your family stay safe mate.

I have to say the doctors and nurse's and everybody involved with the NHS deserve medals for there dedication to duty under extreme pressure and conditions.
Thay are a credit to there professions.
The risks they have to put up with is amazing.

The queen should award them all the OBE Mainbob. People have been awarded them for a lot less.

Would it be too much to ask for a national holiday to be added to the calendar to celebrate the NHS and someone like Captain Tom?
