In response to Hourahans comments on Jack being too good for the club I'll say no player is bigger than the club. If that's your attitude jog on. It should be seen as a privilege to play for any team and the rewards it brings not something to bemoan because you think you can do better. You should give your all no matter who you play for especially a club with the prestige we still hold. If you're not happy stop biting the hand that feeds (little NIN reference ðŸ˜) and sod off! I'd rather have a team of tryers than a team of jumped up wannabes (see Sheff Utd) and comments like we've heard will not be good for team morale.

It might explain why he goes missing in games Moose, he clearly has an inferiority complex. If you think somebody is better than you, that should inspire you to work harder to reach that level, or at the very least, work your socks off in every game, contributions such as that are just as important within a team. I couldn’t imagine someone like John McGinn saying something like that for instance, he doesn’t have Grealish’s ability but his work rate and competitiveness more than makes up for it.

The way I see it, Grealish is good enough for the Villa, (putting his silly boy antics aside), Hourihane isn’t good enough 🤔.

We touched on something along these lines earlier in the season, I heard Jason Cundy saying the very same thing months ago, about Jack.
Hourihane are you for real, you are part of that team, so surely it would of been more appropriate if you had said, "I am not good enough to be playing alongside players like Jack Grealish" you numpty.
You have the same level of intelligence, as your counterpart Jason Cundy.
If you can`t make simple decisions on the pitch, don`t try and influence others.

Hi Dave, bit late coming on mate, got trouble with those gremlins in the system again mate? Nice to hear from Mainbob again, sounds like he’s been to hell and back.
It was a stupid comment from Hourihane but he has kind of redeemed himself with his comments today on the uncertainty of the situation saying that he’s finding it scary ( referring to the possibility of a return to action), and he goes on to suggest that the decision makers are only driven by the money issues and not the players safety.
If more players voiced their concerns like this, maybe through the players union for instance it may just help make a difference to the outcome.
