Bit bored so I've put together a worst Villa XI plus subs that'll make the relegation team look like Brazil and give you nightmares worse than Freddy on Elm Street, here goes
1 ANDRE MOREIRA
2 HABIB BEYE
3 DAVID UNSWORTH
4 JOLEON LESCOTT
5 ANGEL CRESPO

6 ERIC DJEMBA DJEMBA
7 MICHAEL BRADLEY
8 STEPHEN IRELAND

9 BOSKO BALABAN
10 NICOLAS HELENIUS
11 CHARLES N'ZOGBIA

12 GABOR KIRALY
13 MICAH RICHARDS
14 OYVIND LEONHARDSON
15 GRANT HOLT
16 MOUSTAPHA SALIFOU
17 ROBERT PIRES
18 JEAN MAKOUN

Honourable mention to SASA CURCIC
Let me know what you think once you've recovered and hopefully you'll be able to sleep tonight 😁 in fairness you can't use any of this years squad no matter how tempting but the above may make you feel better about this current lot 😂😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely an Aston Vanilla team Moose, don’t know how you managed to dig that lot out mate, I’d forgotten half of them even wore the shirt to be honest.
I think I might have found a space for Dross McCormack though 😂😂😂.

30 Apr 2020 14:48:06
He was so bad I'd forgotten about him completely or the memory has been erased by some crazy scientist. Think personally he was just misunderstood 😂😂😂.

30 Apr 2020 14:56:13
One hell of a lot of money though, for what was it, 4 goals? Interestingly Habib Beye has become a very successful tv pundit on Canal + tv in France. He does the pre. Ligue 1 match thing with Pierre Menés and a few others.

30 Apr 2020 15:18:56
I think you have pretty much nailed it there Moose.
We have had some crap over the years for sure, Mark picked another with Mac-the-crap.
Shame you can`t find a place the the Gardner Brothers.
How about Oscar Arce, Emmant Kapengwi, back in the late 60s.

30 Apr 2020 15:32:51
So is it a case of Sunday Monday Habib Beye? Tuesday Wednesday Habib Beye? You know the rest Mark 😁.

30 Apr 2020 15:43:02
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the fonz was the other pundit 😂.

30 Apr 2020 15:52:39
Pmsl quality Mark bet the female pundits are all over him, the Fonz, not Habib Beye!

30 Apr 2020 15:53:45
Dave they're that vague I've never heard of them! 😯.

30 Apr 2020 16:03:58
I have to say Dave, I’ve never heard of those players from the sixties, I started going to Villa games around 1970,so that’s probably why. We’re they really 💩 mate 😂.

30 Apr 2020 16:18:12
Yes they are definitely happy days for Henry’s Winkler,
Moose 🤣🤣🤣.

30 Apr 2020 16:24:26
Oscar Fulloné Arce, after he played for us, he Became a coach at Sheffield United and Sunderland.
He was an Argentine football coach and player. He played for Independiente Medellín and Real Oviedo before moving to England to play for Aston Villa in 1967.
He went on to become one of the most successful African club managers.

Yes Mark he was, and they were 💩💩💩💩.

Agree with fitting the gardners in, plus make room for taylor, simms and ormondroyd. As for a manager, well it just has to be Mcneil!

30 Apr 2020 18:03:05
74 what about Dr Venglos as manager? And remember ormondroyd a latter day Peter Crouch 😁 GT favourite paired with a crap winger in Nigel Callaghan 😱.

30 Apr 2020 18:25:05
Ormondroyd wasn’t quality but he could be effective with his height. I remember watching Villa play Coventry in the GT era. The tactic deployed was to pump high balls out wide where Ormondroyd would be waiting. I can’t remember who the Coventry full backs were but Ormondroyd won literally everything in the air. His headers were generally directed into the box and overall he caused absolute havoc in the Cov. defense, I think Villa won 4-1 that day and I had your man down as MOM.

30 Apr 2020 21:15:08
How about another crap Villa signing Nii Lamptey I think he was described as the African Pele😂😂😂.

30 Apr 2020 21:34:38
Remember a cup game against Forest were dwight yorke was dropped from the bench because Nii Lampty (who was starting) made up our 3 overseas contingent, didn't work out too well for him 😁.

01 May 2020 15:47:33
Ahhh Nii Lamptey, what ever happened to him? I remember his debut v Wigan League cup 94 when we beat them 5-0. He was all over the news and fairplay he did look a very exiting talent that night, even scored i think.
