I'm not into politics at all and know nothing about it but I have to say apart from the testing I think the government have been 1st class in all of this I have never voted in my life as I feel they are all corrupt but Boris Johnson and his team can hold his head up high in all of this that's just my personal view.

Hi Daz, where you been mate, hope you and family are all ok.
I totally agree with you Daz, they may have been a little bit late with lockdown, but overall I think they have done a very good job.

Hear hear Daz I'm not overly keen on politicians think they're in the same "what's in it for me? " category as footballers but during this crisis they have shown a solidarity and resolve that maybe will renew some faith in the ideas and principles that they are meant to uphold.

Cheers Dave we are fine thank you and trust and hope your family are ok too? We as a nation have got too be proud to be British at this moment in time apart from the few selfish people who are about. Its also nice to see Moose posting some great comments and putting some topics of debate out there a welcome addition to this forum I say keep it up Moose.

Reading that premier league players are setting up a special fund for the NHS, well done gentlemen finally a selfless act. I would like to think that this has been done out of a sense of duty to help in this time of national crisis rather than it being done due to the recent bad publicity and pressure they're getting from the general public. I suppose it all comes down to what side of cynical you stand but it's a start to repairing some of the damage the morality the great game has suffered.

A good analogy Moose, I sincerely hope it is for your first reason, and that it has been done out of common decency.
