If football players and Management think that they will get a big pat on the back from me, for accepting a very small pay cut, they can think again.
They are not doing anything special here, they are all very wealthy people, and like most in that fraternity, think they are different to others.
I agree it is better than nothing, but that is just what it is, "nothing", to them.
Everyone else has had financial measures forced on them, some are really going to struggle, and may never ever recover.
As we keep saying, we are all in this together, well I am asking them prove it.
Surely under the the present circumstances, clubs should be able to implement their own wage structure.
No money coming through the turnstiles = less or no wages.
If it was up to the many people I have talked to, both online and on the phone, we are all of the same belief that, if you can`t manage on £5,000-£7,000 a week now, you need a serious lesson in life`s skills.
I really do hope nobody defends them on this.

I see Kyle Walker is the latest selfish p###k to break the rules this just shows the complete disregard that these self serving idiots have for the rules that apply to everyone, rich or poor, alike. As for the wages debate, I have no idea of the why's and wherefore's of contracts etc and yes, maybe being singled out is unfair, but at a time of national and global crisis when everydays livelihood is at risk they should not be exempt from doing their part at the minimum they should take the hit of supporting the ordinary people that work for their clubs and are having to survive on the government help available. Come on all football clubs do your part and support your staff and the NHS.

Moose, it seems that if you are mentioned, or your profession is mentioned you are being singled out?
Rooney has complained and said the same, he has said that he has the money and the means to help out.
Well why did he not mention it before then, before he had been singled out.
These guys never think they have been singled out when their money goes up do they.
Obscene amounts of money are paid to them, its not their fault entirely I know, but when it takes: Doctors 5 yrs, Nurses 6.5 yrs and Ambulance personnel 9 yrs, to earn what top players earn in a "WEEK" it infuriates me beyond reason.
They have no complaints at all.
