Can anybody explain to me why the Cheltenham festival has been allowed to go ahead when all football matches have been cancelled. What exactly is the difference?

Basically its because the top people making all the decisions, don`t know their Arse from their Elbow.
It all stems from an agenda.

Wasn’t the decision to cancel the football made on the last day of the festival? That was convenient for the horse racing fraternity then.

It was stated that it was all to do with, attendance, crowd dispersion, and better air flow.
I think that is what they were saying.
Should have been cancelled, end of.

I live in Cheltenham and in my opinion letting it go ahead was stupid. Locals do go but the vast majority are from far and wide. 100,000’s of thousands. I really hate the hype around this virus but think about it, 1 person going every day. It may be open but it’s rammed. It’s all about the money.
