We’ve had some great Scottish players over the years.
The ones that spring to mind for me are,
Alan Mclnally, Des Bremner, Allan Evans, Ken McNaught, Andy Gray and Bruce Rioch.
IMHO, if John McGinn plays a significant part in keeping us up he could be mentioned in the same breath as this group.
Can anybody think of any other great Scots
that deserve to be in this group.

Charlie Aitken, Andy Blair, Alex Cropley, Andy Lochead, Ron Wylie.
As you say Mark, great team players, wore their heart on their sleeve
and many of them did their job without you really noticing them.
Andy Blair springs to mind.

Charlie Aitken, he was a loyal servant, remember watching him when we were in the 3rd division, in the 70’s.
Can’t believe I forgot Alex Cropley, he was one of my favourite players.

Alex Cropley played the night we beat the great Liverpool 5-1.
Ray Clemence stated the first 45 minutes was the best performance from a team he had ever seen.

I might add Mark, that that night we had two 18 year old`s in the side.
Defenders Charlie Young, and Mike Buttress, it just shows if your good enough your old enough.

It was 5-1 at half time Mark.
No goals second half although chances were still created.

We went easy on them second half then, ha ha.
