Mark, I will try and tell you what I think about the Hogan saga.
We are collectively as a club and supporters, notorious for our demands and expectations of anyone we sign.
Just listen to what is being said about Borja Baston before he kicked a ball, he was hammered.
It has happened with other players as well, Hogan comes into that category, he was never given anything like a run in the side, and when he was used, he was never given anything to feed off.
The pressure and frustration that must create, I can`t imagine.
At St Andrews he is not under that pressure, and has Jutkiewicz playing alongside who is not a selfish player.
At Villa Hogan had Kodjia who has to be the most selfish player I have seen.
He was never given a real chance in my honest opinion.

You would have thought though that Deano would have known how to get the best out of him, having worked with him at Brentford, where he couldn’t stop scoring.
I think it might have worked with him and Wesley up front but Deano just seems unwilling to try 2 strikers.
Changing the subject what about Watford beating Liverpool. They seem to have taken have their foot off the gas, they weren’t that great against West Ham in the previous match either. You can bet your life they’ll be bang on form when we play them though.
That puts 19th now Dave, looks like we’ve got a mountain to climb after tomorrow’s final mate.
