This would be my team and substitutes for the cup final against Man City.
Six unknowns to add a bit of pace, and something different going forward.
I would hope under the circumstances, that someone at Villa Park would take the bull by the horns and throw down the gauntlet to the players.
It won`t happen I know, but there is absolutely nothing to loose in this one, grow a pair that`s what I say.
We are not expected to win, in fact city are 1/ 8 to win the game.

Like where you’re coming from Dave, no room for any slackers. The regular players you’ve kept are the type that will give there all and I think you could be sure all the youngsters would do the same. Dean Smith talked of players losing their places, he should have the courage of his convictions, and show them who’s boss. Something like this would take Man City by surprise and let’s face it something needs to or the result will be inevitable. I think as supporters as well you would really get behind a team like this.

The problem with our managerial and coaching team at the moment Mark, is that yes they will make changes as hinted, but we all know it is likely to be Elmo for Guilbert, Trez for El Ghazi, Drinkwater for Luiz etc etc.
These are also some of the players, who are responsible for our current plight, and in truth offer nothing better than what we are used too.
I would like something new and refreshing, if we lose so what, its a game, we would get more plaudits for having a go, and for giving the football world a glimpse of what they can expect from us in the future.

Agree Dave playing the same is not working so why throw the youngsters in they will be better than most of the 11 that play every week, I have feeling cup final could be deano last game especially if we get a thrashing.
