If we lose next Sunday they should sack Smith, not because of that game but because we've still got time to get out of trouble. No time for sentiment now. Still 11 league games left. We can stay up but not with current management team.

I think he needs to go Johnny, we are so open! The worry for me is we ship 4 or 5 in the final, which could happen! That won't be good for confidence.
I can't recall who it was, but I had a discussion with somebody on this site before who suggested Big Sam - I felt we should be better than Big Sam and Villa should be above a manager like that - I still do but I'd like to apologize for disagreeing with / dismissing this person (wish I could remember who it was, sorry) as they clearly seen issues that I didn't. We are an absolute shambles and need somebody who can organise a team. We still have a chance to stay up here, we need to act, I've seen enough of Smith now to realise he is a very good championship manager but out of his depth at the top level.

I feel the same, that today was a complete shambles, at times the ball resembled a balloon at a children`s party, the times it was aimlessly was in the air.

Dave shambles is spot on the sad part of today was that it was not a one off. Not wanting to be a nelly, I am sure you recall the vitriol I received well before the current demise, when I questioned if we would get our money back on this year's signings, well sadly turns out I was right this lot are a shambles.

Ha Ha, was it Villa4Eva? Well, you know what, you had better foresight than me mate! I think a 3 month appointment to get us over the line is needed now, somebody who can organise a defence! Smith has ran out of ideas and I don't get the sense the players are playing for him, all roads lead to the drop currently!
