Ok Dave I'll admit it yeah I think deano should be gone because villa can do better in my view we should be aiming higher, yeah he did good job in championship fair play but prem is another level, one last with the 150 mil we had you would think the team would be better than the one in the championship but it's not in my view, we should of signed a striker Tammy with his pace, Cahill should of been signed to replace tuzanbe, Hutton should of had a extension, a proper ball winner to replace jedi, then a winger to replace Snodgrass, none of the above got replaced properly and that's why we are struggling, you have to replace your players with similar standing surely because one thing Snodgrass is miles better than elghazi and trez.

Ok 4eva, answer me this, its hypothetical but try anyway.
If there was a league of 15 teams.
Each of these teams has a top Manager.
Benitez, Poch, Ancelotti, etc etc.
One of those 15 teams is going to finish bottom of that league.
Who do you replace the manager with? because with your theory the bottom managers are failing, so get rid and get a better Manager in.

Good point Dave but what I was saying that in the break we just had we could of made a change, yeah we might stay up but do you really think deano will be able to keep us up again nxt season keep jck and bring in top players mate, that's my point I don't think he has that pulling power that other managers have, look at wilder i'd love him at villa he's class I would of taken him in championship, he's old in a good way and says it how it is, and has good ideas and get the maximum out his players every week which I don't think deano does, that's just my view as long as we stay up that should be the only thing that matters, but one thing has to change is the director of football and our scouting set up it's awfull we need to bring in a good sporting director like the one from Lille who has found mbbape, Lemar, tolliso, and dembelle from Barcelona, some like that would do or Southampton s brand I think his name is, so we don't make loads of mistakes the market all the time.

You know my feelings 4eva, it is what is is.
There are lots of managers out there, a lot of those Managers start off poorly, some hit the ground running.
If we had 2 - 3 more wins under our belt, he would be the best thing since sliced bread.
It is going to be tough, we all know that.
Forget a new Manager, it ain`t going to happen, back the one we have.

New managers almost always bring a temporary change in fortunes due to players playing for their place but statistics show that most of the time that effect is lost once the team is settled again.
Most of the managers mentioned were in the same position as Smith early in their careers and others made their name in already successful teams.
Valencia were a good side prior to Benitez, Porto were one of the best in the world before Mourinho. Both of those managers also failed to build a side to challenge in their last PL jobs despite having resources (Ashley was slated for not supporting Benitez with funds but he throws more cash at signings than most)
