Purely from a "banter" point if view, has any one studied Elghazi's actions for Luiz goal against Watford. He quickly realised he was in the firing line and would been offside if he had any contact, he collapsed on the line like he had been shot and lay motionless to prevent a accidentally touching the ball. So when fans say he does nothing, he could argue he does good things even when he is doing nothing. If anyone hadn't noticed it take a couple of looks at the highlights.

The alternative interpretation being that he couldn't sort his feet out for the rebound, fell over and then put his face into the turf to avoid being hit. I like your 'glass half full' interpretation more though, so let's go with that. Great end to the game though, let's hope it's the start of some momentum to climb the league. we're only 5 points off Arsenal. and should be able to play with a proper striker now!

DJ on reflection your version sounds more credible, either way he didn't get in the way, intentionally or not and we scored to get back in the game.

Not very often my version is considered credible, so cheers haha! I got your point about it being banter though so all taken with a pinch of salt.
Good news about Barry signing too. all sounds like he might get fast tracked through to the first team within a season or two, maybe via a short loan. one more senior striker and maybe a another winger (wishful thinking) in Jan and we could have positive end to the season. My glass remains half full, for now anyway.
