72 I happen to think it might just work. We definitely got the best out of big ben, how often do big money signings not work, his confidence was shot at Liverpool and palace hasn't been a success. He connected with the fans at VP and still has something to prove, if only to himself. So he can't possibly be any worse the Wes, so I say give it a go, as Villadave says "sink or swim" I think Ben will keep us swimming.

Strike rate stats from his Villa days are on his side:
Big Ben - 101 games 49 goals = 48.5%
Shaw - 213 games 79 goals = 37%
Withe - 231 games 90 goals = 39%
Mind you, that was a couple of years back but I reckon its worth a punt.

Benteke is past it low on confidence that’s the last thing we need I really hope we don’t sign him.

Not as past it as Llorente though - he's 34 and with a much much worse strike rate than Benteke. Even Spurs don't want him back now.
