Sorry edd just to clear things up once and for all. Once again I will tell you what our chairman has said. Aston Villa are fully Compliance with financial fair play he says its poor journalism. The owners of the club care about us and will never put us in the same financial disarray that we was once in. Asked is there money for transfers purslows replys yes if need be but we are sticking to our transfer strategy like the summer. Dean Smith will Jack Grelish be sold no people can look but not touch! I got my information from the horses mouth at meeting with fans. Can you tell me where you get yours from?

{Ed002's Note - You clearly don't get it. Aston Villa have been spending money they have not earned - I have no idea what Purslow said and when he said that - summer spending on transfers in cluding agent fees and other costs was in excess of £150M. The club is making large losses which cannot be sustained. The coach was speaking about selling in January and the club would not do that - and no one has suggested that they will. The idiotic claims about how well off the owners are is a joke.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We sold our ground to comply with FFP last season. This season we got tv money for going up. We are making no more losses than anybody else plus we had most the squad leave last season. We are fine for FFP You are just guessing we are in trouble you have no proof.

{Ed002's Note - Actually your hero Purslow lied to the fans about the sale of the ground and it is now a matter being investigated by the Premier League. Aston Villa are making significant losses and the TV monies are irrelevant to the conversation - clearly a subject to for you to avoid. Perhaps next time you are representing the fans with Purslow you should ask him why he lied to the fans in June after the ground was sold in May?}

Walkies, The fact that Puslow said that Villa park would not be sold to a third party, and at a price of 57 million raises a big red red flag.
Villa Park is worth far more than that.
This will not go away anytime soon.

Couldn't stay away with this going on.
From an accounting standpoint the stadium has not been sold to a third party, it has been sold to another company within the same group. This means ownership still falls within the same consolidated accounts.
The only point of contention can be the valuation as the accounting treatment is within the laws of international accounting standards.

{Ed002's Note - Which consolidated accounts are those?}

03 Jan 2020 21:45:18
When multiple companies are part of the same group under shared ownership then they must submit consolidated group accounts every year.
The FA can only inspect the individual accounts for AVFC but the stadium and other properties are still owned by the same ownership. Creative accounting but 100% legal and therefore the FA cannot dispute that.

{Ed002's Note - The only accounts that are considered are those two sets submitted for Aston Villa Football Club Limited. One a full set, and one a set for the purposes of FFP. Anything else falling under the same ownership is not relevant.}

The relevance of my post is that Purslow never lied and you're stirring the pot worse than the fake fans/ the dingles.
Purslow said we would not sell the stadium to an external source and we didn't because it is still within the same ownership structure.

{Ed002's Note - He failed to say the the stadium had been sold already. He is as trails slime around behind him.}
