Okay then boys and girls, time to cut our cloth accordingly, for me the four choices to come in and keep us up are big Sam, pulis, moyes and everyone's favourite, Neil warnock, I feel big Sam and pulis will want big money to spend, can we afford that? I've never trusted moyes after he blanked us for Everton, so mad as it seems, I'd go for warnock, if you think we're bad for complaining, you should spend a few hours looking at the bluebirds tweets-holly cow they take no prisoners! -for me warnock has always worked miracles at clubs in trouble with no money to spend and with below average players to work with, he doesn't bring in a system the players have to fit into, he finds a system that suits the players, his teams always give their best, and no team likes playing them, I'd rather win ugly with a team that gives it their all, that playing pretty football and donating 3 points each week to the opposition, and yes I know he's a dinosaur, but if you want a manager to get a reaction with less than half the season left, and with probably not a lot of money to spend, I don't know of any managers who could do it apart from warnock.

Why is the natural reaction when in trouble to go for Pulis, Moyes and Big Sam? This, for me, is the nuclear option and something we should avoid. We need to cast the net further than those 4 names mate.

No disrespect there Class but they are Championship managers at best we may aswell stick with Smith mate than have any of them.

Gentlemen, it's more a case of not we can aim for, but whose willing to walk into a job where things aren't exactly tickety-boo! -the owners will want till wait till the summer to give them time to select a manager with a plan they can look into, so in the shortfall that leaves a position that needs someone who ideally has experience and can ease the players worry while coping with the mounting pressures, hence the experienced managers mentioned, not ideal, but thems the apples!

Smith needs to go and and grelish needs to stop coming so deep to get the ball and then trying to take the whole team on, grelish lost us that game today 2 goals were his fault.

I think there are better managers than the likes of Pulis and Big Sam that would be interested in Villa Class.

Look at it this way - Worst case scenario we lose at Burnley and remain on 18 points, Norwich beat Palace, Watford beat Wolves and West Ham beat Bournemouth we would still just be 2 points from safety. Also, Brighton play Chelsea and Southampton play Spurs so it's not unthinkable we could be looking at a bottom 7 of.

Brighton - 23
Southampton - 22
West Ham - 22
Bournemouth - 20
Watford - 19
Villa - 18
Norwich - 16

We are not cut adrift, amazingly, but we need to act if we lose to Burnley - and if we do act, I think there will be good managers who look at that situation and think they could keep us up! And if they do, they will have plenty to spend and one of the greatest clubs in the PL under their management. I really think we undersell Villa if we are looking at Pulis and Big Sam!
