I wasn't expecting anything today. Anyone who was I think were dreaming of a Leicester several years ago.
I was, however, expecting more.
Previous comment about our defenders doing their job is spot on. Mings, while commendable for trying to carry on for the team actually did the opposite by staying on. Targett can attack better than Taylor for sure but did absolutely zero defensively. Konsa is the only one that kept us in the game for as long as we were and the lack of pace either side killed us.
Aimless passes all day, nobody even trying to find space. Wesley did his best but nobody got close enough to benefit from his work.
I understand Deanos reasoning for Nakamba for Trez but it was wrong. Taking Luiz off would have made more sense and then Jack and John could have played with more freedom knowing the better defensive player was behind them. As it was, we couldn't even get the ball back.
Second game in a row though that the officiating has been full on schoolboy level. The amount of times a Leicester player hit the deck from a breath of fresh air and got a free kick was ridiculous. At least the ref in the Manchester derby told United players to stop being pansies, why couldn't we get the same?

Very poor Maddison is 100x the player Grealish is he has had 2 good games all season and we all think he is the best player in the world, no pace in the side to break, pace is so important in our game and we have non! El gazi is a championship player at best how he missed those chances today I will never know! Can anyone tell me the last time mcguin had a good game? I honestly can’t remember? El mohamed is a Sunday league player so poor! Honest thought is we are going down.

The following run of games gives us a chance to get back up there. As long as we play more like against United and Liverpool than Leicester and Wolves then we'll be fine.
Big mistakes in judgement were made today and need to be learnt from but one performance does not equal relegation (look at Southampton) .
Whenever Jack and El Ghazi are out we clearly miss them. Maddison missed as easy a chance as El Ghazi, nobody calls him a championship player for it.
We played the match too much like a 5-a-side today when maybe we should revert to a defensive back 4 and allow the front 4/ 5 to do their business like the beginning of the season.

El gazi is poor mate I don’t know how you can not see it look at the chances he has missed over the season, and Maddison can afford to miss a chance because he will create 5 more for his team mates. I say we drop Grealish and we will be better. At the moment he wants to do it all on his own it is the jack Grealish team.
