Just looking at our youngsters out on loan, not exactly going amazing.

O'Hare probably the stand out, 13 appearances for Cov so far, 2 goals and a few man of the match awards. I actually work with a Cov fan who said he stands out every game, with his desire for the ball and his quality on it. You probably would have hoped for more goals/ assist but they sit third and he's been a big part of that.

James Bree has played a lot for Luton, but they sit just outside the relegation zone, I haven't heard any rave reviews either.

Hepburn-Murphy has 3 in 12 for Tranmere, but they all came in one game. I don't know how they play but surely to get more goals he needs to be getting in behind, he won't have any luck going man for man against big league one centre backs. Hopefully he can get double figures and maybe go out to championship level next year, his career is stuttering big time.

Andre Green has to be having the worst time out the lot, 4 league appearances, 2 cup and 1 goal. I don't even think he's been making the bench. He's had bad injuries for someone of his age but this lad was being talked about in the same light as Grealish not long ago, and now he couldn't be further away. We've all seen the talent and what he can do on his day, but he doesn't have his day often enough. Might be worth recalling him and sending him to league one in the hope he can find some form.

Out the four nine really strike you as guaranteed to make the step up to the first team. You look at Harvey Barnes last year and how he went out on loan and used it to show himself, got recalled in Jan and now hasn't left the first team since at Leicester. Hopefully they can, and Harry Kane never did amazing at any of the places he went on loan and blossomed late, hopefully it's the same case.

Andre green is a busted flush and will never play week in, week out, Alex Neil stated a few days ago he has arthritis in his toes, it's a massive shame because he has all the attributes needed to have been something special, I hope they figure out some way to help him overcome this because injections are just a short-term solution.

He’s never had luck with injuries, I remember him coming on two years ago, team was playing awful, no positivity, he injected some life and drive, went to chase a nothing ball just to get us further up the pitch and try to inspire some energy, only for him to pull his hamstring in the process. He was out for the rest of the season.

Maybe Chris, he needs to do what Johnny Wilkinson did, when he played rugby at Newcastle he was always getting injured, but when he took a chance and moved to France to play for toulouse (I think ), he attributed the warmer, drier climate to extending his career when the doctors over here said he should retire, I'd love green to stay, but I think he may be one of those players where the environment affects his physical well being, so I'd loan him to a club in Spain or turkey and fingers crossed it might reinvigorate his career, because like you say, he has a big heart.
