So Jack been ignored once again with lame excuses from southgate.
Why are villa fans so surprised!
It's not the first time this has happened at our club.
It's a disgrace for me.
Jack must be wondering what he has to do to get the call up?
Could his head be turned with a move to a top 6 club.

I’m not that shocked to be honest, he’s had a brilliant month but missed the last game through injury, he probably needs another good 3/ 4 games on the spin to show he’s settled into prem life and ready for international level.
Some of the players that are in the squad and the excuses Southgate used for not picking him, make you think his face just doesn’t fit at the minute, worth noting Southgate never really used Grealish at U21 level.
I’ve never really taken to Southgate as England manager, he threw his career as a player away chasing money, and he’s had far too easy ride as England boss IMO. Saying that he will pick players on form irrelevant of club and then having Lingard in his last squad despite him not having a goal or assist in 40 odd games, tells me he’s just another puppet for the FA. We’ve beaten One team we wasn’t favourite to under him, Spain in a friendly. The football is better than previous but that wasn’t hard, he tried to force all our best players into a system in the WC and ultimately cost us getting to the final, playing Walker at Centre back and Young at left back when rose was fit.
I’m more annoyed at the fact he’s made it seem inevitable jack will be called up anyway by saying “there are a few injury concerns and I won’t hesitate to call him up†that’s no good to anyone, almost like he wants him in the squad but picks players he knows aren’t fit so then Jack gets in by default. Leave him be Gareth.

Everything in a nutshell, very good post chris, spot on mate.
The only thing I question is, how people keep referring to playing at international level.
Most top club sides would in my opinion beat the national side.
I think both Liverpool and Man City would beat the current England side.

Jack's carrying a calf injury could we really risk him getting a call up just for our own sakes? On current form he deserves a call up but not when he's carrying a injury.
