I read on twitter we didn't deserve to lose, we lost because we were beaten by a better side, no shame in that. I just hope we don't read at the end of the season we didn't deserve to go down, you make your own luck in football and you need to make the most of every opportunity, so when you are 1 0 up against a top side and you are at home you inevitably need a second goal and that's where we went wrong today. Liverpool were always going to score, we sat back too deep just like last week against man city and the inevitable happened. We need a striker, Wesley is just not up to it, we need to release super John he is ineffective defending. So Deano has seen enough to see what's needed for the rest of the season and it's now obvious what's being served up will not be enough to save us from a relegation fight. There are positives and with a couple of additions in January and a change in style we might just have enough to stave off relegation. We can't accept "we didn't deserve to lose" any more, if we lose its down to the manager, team selection and the players.

I agree with everything you have said scotty.
One thing I will not do and that is blame Dean Smith.
Two main things are that McGinn is no defender, and as you say we sit far too deep and allow teams on to us.
One thing I think should be mentioned and that is Trez, the guy played really well and is improving all the time, and in my eyes came close to MOM.
Wesley found wanting again, so yes we need a couple of strikers.
