I have to agree with Scotty and his opinion on Taylor.
I also think we are a much better side going forward without him.
My reasoning is that the team have more confidence and trust without him.
I also think to say that has nothing to do with complaining about Villa, its a perfectly valid observation about one part of a machine that if its not working properly take it out and replace it.
If that`s not common sense I don`t know what is.

Dave be careful, you are opening your self up to RK and Chris's wrath. I agree there is absolutely nothing negative in stating the obvious and it's not surprising to many that our best performances of late were the first half last week and yesterdays 90 minutes. Check out the team during this period. I just hope Deano gets backup in January as Targett may be fragile.

Because bar the second goal to Burnley Taylor hasn't actually done anything wrong and I don't have an agenda against any player.
I've previously said that each one is better depending on the circumstances. I think Targett would get found out against City and Liverpool so Taylor should play those games for his experience in managing games but for the games we should look to dominate we should use Targett.

I will say it one last time Taylor is the weakest left back in the premier league by a mile, he is to short, can't win headers, too slow, can't cross, can't shoot, can't attack, no matter who who play he should not be anywhere near the first team again.

Everyone agrees on Taylor, if that’s not clear to see the I don’t know how else everyone can spell it out. No one is in disagreement on him or his ability.
But comments like “if Deano hadnt been so blinkered we would be a few points better off†after a 5-1 win, is what winds people up, and further proves that with this fan base you can never truly win. Add to that the fact Targett was injured for quite a few games, Hause missed a game through injury and Dean Smith (you know the manager who got us promoted) is around them every day, with a team full of experienced coaches helping him make decisions, comments like that just flaunts ignorance and arrogance.
