Last night I thought we gave everything but no crosses was going in the box and when there was there was only Wesley in there on his own. They went down to men and I can't understand why dean smith didn't bring davis off sooner we had 20 min with 11v10 and smith messed up a bit there. Mcginn fitness needs looking at he can only play for 1 half now its the 3rd time i heard him say his tired great player but needs fitness training. We need to keep the ball better Grelish was crap again spurs game cost us a goal palace game give the chance to ayew and yesturday i think he found a west ham player more than a Villa! Again chance missed last night lose to arsenal saturday and its bottom 3 again. We tryed really hard last night but I just don't think we are good enough to hurt people in the final 3rd!

Spot on assessment.
Up top needs addressing otherwise we will struggle big time this season.
We look more solid defensive wise and you can't fault the effort put in.
Marv looked decent .
He made a few errors but overall he did what was expected of him
My worry is also in wide areas.
El-ghazi very in and out player and jota just looks very predictable coming inside all the time.
He has not got pace to beat a defender.
He has talent for that killer pass up top.
As for wes he needs to be dropped and replaced by Davis who i rate very highly
He only fault is scoring goals bit like wes really.
I also think lansbury deserves a chance to impress more from the bench.
But overall we played ok but we must find the net more.

Byvthe way 1 comment on el gazi mings thing I belive mings was in the right and el gazi needs to help his team more. I would have took him off srraight away after he tryed to headbutt mings it was handbags but there's no need for it.

WTW I agree mate, Smith was brave by going 2 up top but took too long to do it, as soon as they went down to 10 we should have reacted. The front 3 let us down massively last night, I think on the Mings el ghazi thing I can see both arguments, Taylor is a professional footballer, they misplaced that ball over so badly, el ghazi was obviously expecting at this level that Taylor would be able to read it and play it out.

CATV time for Hause to be given a chance on the left, we have seen him both defend and attack and cross the ball all of which he is competent at, watching Taylor's inept displays frustrates out of me and it's s pity Deano can't see what Bruce saw, remember he played both Elmo and Hutton at left back because ha saw what most of us see in Taylor.

Hause is decent defensively but come on, his crossing is as non-existant as Taylor's.
