Hi guys new to the site. Referring back to Ruddy post i believe this will be an excellent signing . especially if he's free. Bags and bags of Championship and Premiership experience.

Kodjia = pace and skill, selfish but 80% in a good way
Hogan = finisher, fox in the box
Carroll = target man, 90% wins everything in the air
All options covered there, if not Carroll, only other striker that I can think of that's similar is Mario Gomez, bit of a pipe dream but I'd guess Terry would've been too before the summer?

Mario Gomez, maybe on Fifa. Davies looks like a bit of a brute, more than held his own against experienced, heavy weight Brighton centre halves, give him a chance as our target man/ power house up top.

I don't think Barry would join ANY championship side even villa . he only needs 5 Premiership appearances to beat Ryan Giggs record for all time premiership appearances just a thought, but i would definitely have him over Whelan i agree with ya on that.

Hope this doesn't get me in trouble with my source. Barry has bought his Mrs a stables close to Studley, that's suggesting to me that they're moving back to the Midlands, I don't think it'll happen till he's passed Giggs record but I'd bet the farm that something could happen from January onwards, or, Toffees have money to spend from Lukaku and maybe sell Barkley too, if they get in a few top notch midfielders then Barry might struggle to get a game, more likely to play in Europa league which wouldn't work for him.
If I was Barry I'd gamble on Villa going back up and beating the record that way, and I think this would work, could move back to the back 3, just like how it all started for him under Gregory too to get more games
