Vassilev off to Cheltenham on loan. He will do well there.

The difference is that Cheltenham although a division lower are pushing for promotion therefore creating many scoring opportunities, Burton on the other hand are sitting bottom of the table and producing very few chances each match. A striker can look poor when the team around him is also poor so I think he will start to shine a little more.

Come on, that was 1-2 and if mcGinn had put his away penalties. Yes we were poor in the first half, passing was rubbish but we flattered Chelsea. BTW Lee Dixon is a pleb and everyone will hate Cole Palmer unless he is playing for England.

Please excuse the irony. One word “micro management”. It’s like the players are trying to please the manager but don’t think outside the box. When it’s going wrong you need to adapt. They all have the ability but stick to fruitless tasks.

I remember when Gerrard arrived there was a Rangers supporter on here who said he was good to start with but opposition soon sussed his tactics and there was no plan B. Seems he was right to me. His experience is lacking, maybe a decent number 2 or a plan B even if it goes wrong. Surely a disciplined plan B would throw the opposition off their game plan.

I think many on here have said the substitutes come too late.
We seem to be a second half team but all too late, trying the same things?
I know it sounds strange but what about something different in the first half and then back to normal in the 2nd, assuming the opposition have reacted? Thinking they play their card first.

I know the side was changed for Hibs but 2 weekly games, the travelling etc we are not used to. I’m sure that would contribute to the Liverpool result. I know these players are fit but the usual press wasn’t there.

I watched them play Cheltenham in the cup. Dem else is a speed machine, bit lightweight though.
Cheltenham are having a nightmare start and noses didn’t roll them over.

Not only that but they played the whole game. When we were hanging on at the end why didn’t he uses subs. We were second to the ball and it was killing us. Gallagher made a difference and got there first. Kane was strolling around as he was knackered.
