Looking forward to Saturday missed footy for 2 weeks, i'm hoping for a good display from the villa we should be beating bburn, if we have play off ambitions . Just hope we get our defence sorted out else we could be in trouble.

I think you are right mate, Villa need and should get 3 points against Blackburn if we are looking to be promoted. Getting back amongst the leaders quickly is essential both to Villa if want to put in a serious challenge, and for Bruce if he wants to remain in charge.

Slip ups now and again, although frustrating may be tolerated if sparse but a string of poor results won't be. A bad result later today could seal Bruce's fate. We need to be within touching distance of the automatic places or in one of them at all times so sliding down the table cannot be accepted, we certainly don't want to be mid table for a prolonged period.

Come December we need to be right up there with the pack because the tough fixtures during that month will most likely see us drop points and lose ground whoever is in charge. So if we continue to slide down the table now then it needs to be addressed and fast, usually the first step for a club in achieving that would be to remove the manager from his post.

As always I hold my faith with team and Manager but without 3 points today even I must admit I was wrong to believe in Bruce and maybe he is not the man for the job after all. So I hope for Bruce's sake and for that of the club that things go well today, new players are in place, the squad is rested and there are no unexpected injury issues so it's a day for no excuses.
