As always some cracking views on stevo and how 3 out of 14 isn't the best and he needs time,and to you who think this I say this,we have had a litany of managers who have not been top draw and over time our standards have dropped in what we expect and how long it will take for it to happen, the simple answer is this,when you look at stevo and what he's done so far,compare him to Antonio Conte and what he's done at the spuds, even before the first transfer window he had,with a team who were lacking belief and any form,he had already ingrained a belief and standards which you could see even before his first window,players want to play for him and he gives no slack,can you say stevo has achieved that same level as Conte?-i think not,is it unfair to compare the 2-no,that's the level we have to achieve, and like it or not stevo will never reach that standard,if you guys disagree fair enough,but ask yourself,if you could swap stevo for Conte would you even hesitate?

Not a fair comparison 82, Conte was an already established elite level manager who has managed in the premiership previously, and whilst I would love the likes of Conte or Poch at B6 the reality is that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. Those guys are looking to manage those clubs who are either in or on the cusp of the Champions League they are not going to risk hard won reputations on a project that’s very much a work in progress. We have to manage expectations and cut our cloth accordingly.

Loti-we have billionaire owners who want returns on their investment,if they have a choice to stick with what we have or press the reset button I know which one they'll choose,as for attracting a top manager,for example the poch,all managers want to be at a club with ambitious owners willing to spend money-that would be us then I think,everyone knows where we need to strengthen and yet we have not again,i reckon he has no more than 8 games,i hope he proves me wrong and we get what we need and have a great campaign,and i think the likes of the poch would definitely come here as long as they know they would be backed,but again i don't like gerrard but i hope he is a screaming success, for everyone's sake.

In fairness LOTI, Purslow stood up at the Supporters Trust meeting in 2019 and said this was a five-year project that was very much work-in-progress. so, in theory, were only three years into it. He's close to Gerrard so was no doubt instrumental in his appointment. Our AGM is in a fortnight so perhaps I'll ask him for a progress update against the plan
