Now surely nobody can, complain about that one .
Big Wes could of had 4 and he worked hard getting back Defensively. Marvellous was Marvellous and overall a great team performance. Nice to see the goals, being shared about . Another brilliant goal, by Douglas, what a strike .
Nice to see Prince William and family, cheering us on . Prince George was really getting excited, looks like we could have another royal supporter .

We are a completely different team without the incompetent Taylor, if Deano hadnt been so blinkered we would be a few points better off, I just hope he doesn't start another game and it would really suit me if he isn't even on the bench, just look what happened last week.

You're really going to put that performance down to one player Scott? The result was coming and today was the day the opposition didn't find another gear and we kept the pressure on. Praise the men who did the job rather than throwing unnecessary negatives around.

Not negative rk, just telling it how it is. If players aren't good enough and affect all round performance they shouldn't be in the side, the fist half last week and today show what kind of team we are without a weak link at left back.

Brilliant movement today with the stamp of Dean Smith all over it! Great to see him sticking to his principles despite some doubters! People may say it's only. Norwich with injuries but we saw thigh coming in all of our previous games in glimpses! It was all together now and great subs to contribute too! Lovin it! U Onwards and Upwards UTV.

Targett had a decent game like everyone else but I saw no major difference in the play to suggest the result came about because of his presence bar the tackle that led to Hourihane's goal.
I missed the first 30 minutes while driving home from a gig last night so must have missed out on his single-handed influence you suggest.

Your not telling it how it is, your being negative after a 5-1 win, says a lot.

I am totally negative where Taylor is concerned, however he wasn't involved today so nothing negative in my view today. I am totally positive when he is not involved, which is th first half last week and today's performance. Highlighting weekness is no way negative it is factual, I support the Villa through and through and always will and am just grateful Deano had finally seen the light.

Stating the point that the players were only excellent because of the omission of one player is not a fact, it's opinion. A rather disrespectful opinion to the players who put in that excellent performance might I add. The passing and positioning of the midfield and forwards made that game from what I saw. There wasn't much in the way of defending from either side (not much need for us) . Some decent last ditch blocks and interceptions which we can hopefully avoid needing to make further down the line.

100% is because Taylor didn’t play, teams target him and it gets to us. The players loose confidence when Taylor is on the pitch I’d much rather see a traffic cone instead of taylor hopefully target can stay fit UTV.

I rest my case your honour, Tom this is the most sensible and accurate response I have read on this site. It is 100% correct.

The other players have not remotely changed the way they play, the only difference yesterday was the passes finding their target and players not running head first into defenders.
The players are professionals so get on with their job otherwise they'd be unprofessional.
If you're talking about targeting weakness I think you'll find teams tend to target the wing with El Ghazi on because he's not great at tracking runners. But again, bias means that if Taylor can't stop a 10v1 situation it means he's rubbish.

Fantastic performance and result.
All played really well.
Marvellous was my mom he was brilliant.
Covered every inch of grass and we have a potential superstar on our hands.
Playing like this will keep us up for certain in my book.
Movement pace and getting more bodies in the penalty area is what I wanted and we got it in abundance yesterday.
Plus our regal supporter was there with his family to witness it all.

We win 5-1 and yet some are still determined to put a negative spin on things and show their arrogance and ignorance.

Great result yesterday .

The entire team was class from back to front .

I’m not sure how any of you can moan about a player that wasn’t in the team .

If Taylor was playing, irrespective of my views on the lad I would support the choices made by Deano In order to get the result .

Taylor is not a great player no, but every time he puts the claret and blue on I will support him!
