Surely a loss at Bristol and Bruce is gone? By some miracle, we are only 5 points from the summit, this leage is here for the taking but we need to act fast.

I've seen a lot of posts lately about how boring the whole Bruce in / Bruce Out debate has become and I completely agree. It's redundant, the only opinions that matter are those of the owners and I just hope that they are paying close attention, not just to our results, style of play and general lack of identity but to the league in general. A swift and wise appointment allied with our talented squad leaves us with a great chance of promotion, procrastinate and we will be here for a long long time.

There are plenty of options, my first choice would be Brendan Rodgers - He will instil a sense of indentity and get us playing vibrant attacking football.

In a honesty though, I don't accept the "but who do we get" excuse for keeping Bruce in the job - A manager that will play players in their correct position, regardless of historic success or win ratios or experience is instantly an improvement on Bruce - And I think / hope we would be looking at managers with more to them than that. He needs to go, we are only five points off the top, there is plenty of time to win the league but we need to act or we will blink and the gap will be in insurmountable 15+ points.

mate of mine up in geordie land says benitez is fed up of all the mike ashley stuff and the club's sale and might be tempted elsewhere, possibly villa park.
