Chris Wilder, in an interview stated, when buying a player the first thing he looks at is character. The players he wants, can not just run for 90 mins +, but want to . Also they desperatly want to win and will bust a gut to do it .
As we saw on Friday, our players suddenly, decided to play that way . But sadly only for the last 10 mins . As has been said time and again, our squad can't do it consistently . Weelan came on and changed the game, simply by looking to move the ball forwards, faster . Problem is he can't do it consistently.
You can't at the moment, criticise Deano, this is not his team . No matter what the do on the training ground, once they cross that line, it's up to the team . I bet if if it was up to Deano, Half of our squad would be gone .
At the moment he has to use what he's got . The player attitude and commitment has to change, not the manager .
