Assuming the rumour is correct, should we sell Kodjia to Angers and for what price or do we keep him as Tammy will almost certainly not be with us next season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes oldvillan I think we should sell him, Kodjia does have his moments, and can at times change a game, problem is he is not a team player.
I think he is a bit erratic at times and would be a much better player if he looked up occasionally to see where he is going, and spot his team mates movements.
Sell and invest in a quality attacking midfielder, reason being we are very ordinary when Jack is out.

I'd agree with the post from Villadave. Kodjia can look like a world beater at times, the trouble is that those times are far too rare. His ability to conjure something out of nothing is far outweighed by his lack of composure, the way he often delays a pass or a move breaks down because of him not being in sync with others. To be fair he has been played out of position this season though. He's still got a decent record, decent market value and certainly wish him well after helping us out, but time to move on and get a bit more value for money. easier said than done I know in January though. Same could be said of Bolasie too. must be well over £100k a week between them so let's free up some space in our squad, develop Green and get maybe another in to make a bit more of a consistent contribution.

The problem now is if we do sell him we will have less than a week to replace him and could end up not bringing anyone in due the lack of time left.
With Bolasie now gone back to Everton it looks like Green will be expected to fill the gap. Maybe by shifting 70k a week off our payroll will release some money for investment. We need it!
We have got ourselves into a proper mess over the past 4 - 5 weeks, probably since the Albion game to be honest. Before that game we were looking forward to a transfer window that would enable us to push for promotion. Since then however we have conceded an average 2+ goals a game at home (not even counting the 5 we conceded to Forest! ), not won at home since we beat blues (2 months ago! ) .
We are now looking at teams below us (not above us) and the transfer window is becoming one of short term fix (again! ) to get us to the end of the season.
I'm not blaming the current management team but after the initial 'honeymoon' period we have been woeful. Grealish's absence has been a factor, probably more than anyone would have thought. Add to that Tuanzebe's injury, which has also been a factor.
Best we can hope for this season is upper mid-table.
We need some rabbits pulled out of hats over the next week or so that's for sure.
