Just read the sad sad news of Doug Ellis passing. Whilst he had a good innings it is still sad and puts things in perspective. He did a lot of good l for our club and was claret and blue to the core. We need to remember him for all the good things he did. The timing of his death had nothing to do with football however I hope he was happy with our new manager and died a happy man, we all know he cared. RIP Doug you were a good man to AVFC.

RIP Doug Ellis. He was Mr Aston Villa for a generation. Wasn't always popular but was Villa through thick and thin.

Hi VillaWizard Villa were never near bankruptcy unlike the last 2 owners Lerner and the good Dr.
Also to question his intelligence when he isn't around to answer you shows your lack of intelligence.

VillaWizard. Not big or clever. Deadly was Villa through and through. A legend and worthy of a statue to commemorate his life.
