All over media sites this salvo, bjarnason could be out for the rest of the season, i hope the press as usual are over exaggerating on this one, could mean samba gets his contract after all, experience over youth, what can you say, time to roll the dice.

6-8 weeks out, don't think a left winger being injured equals a centre back getting a contract tho mate.

Ah good point Chris, what i should have made clearer is with samba having the experience of playing across the back line at previous clubs i think maybe brucey would favour using him and maybe pushing someone further up to cover losing bjarnason, i think experience would beat going for a youth player, although it would top entertainment to see samba on the wing though!

Getting Samba in defence means we can utilise Amivi on the wing, which he's very capable of.

BigC - good call, i thought amavi could be converted, seemed to work for gareth bale, i heard through the grapevine he's not done too bad for a certain spanish outfit!
