That just about sums it up! Can you feel the pressure building RDM? Call it as I see it and this is no better than last season! 1st away goal for Forest this season! We really are a laughing stock.

We have no midfield end of, any one who can defend Westwood or Gardner knows nothing about football.

26 shots, 8 on target and we hit the post twice. Laughing stock is a bit harsh.

One toe poke from 30 yards that makes Bunn think he can't jump and the ball falling to someone luckily in the box and all of a sudden were a laughing stock. Behave yourself. Gardner made mistakes but 9/ 10 got the ball back straight away, he was starting attacks (actually passing forward) and getting up to support. Westwood was neat in possession and helped the back 4, they can't be that bad when their in a team that's created 26 shooting oppertunities, everyone's frustrated but don't look for a scape goat, we have to take our chances simple as that.

Westwood is, and always has been a mediocre Division 1/ Championship player. Gardener, so far this season has been just as poor. He doesn't create or defend well. That is why he keeps getting substituted by RDM.
Tshibola looks a really good prospect but I feel it would be a bit unwise to place too much responsibility on his young shoulders at the moment. Jedinak we've not really seen yet.
IMO the only problem we have ATM is the quality of our centre midfield.
N÷'s to be sorted . Fast.

I was at the game and agree about Westwood. Time and time again he passed sideways and backwards then for their equaliser he allowed the runner to burst thtough. i'm also a bit worried about our back two in particular Chester, because let's face it Forest had 3 attempts on goal and scored 2! However to say we are a laughing stock is a little silly, we had 26 shots on goal, hit the woodwork twice, scored twice and absolutely dominated the game! If we look at our mistakes and tighten up we will shoot up the table, but it needs to happen asap not in a few games time!

Basically we was robbed by bit of luck and a stunning opener, De Laet IMO 1st half was nervous and showed it, 2nd half improved a bit, I agree we need to sort out midfield and steel it up but attacking wise we will start ripping teams apart, Kodjia was great Ayew best game this season could do with a birthday every game by the looks but RDM should of brought on Jedniak after we took lead and closed out the game, so a few moments of luck for forest but overall we dominated and was unlucky.

Watched the highlights and sorry andyPF but watch it back, the only midfielder to make a forward pass into dangerous positions and then make them self an option was Gardner, made mistakes but get of the boys back and stop picking the easy option. He was subbed because we was 1-0 because the defence didn't close down their man and Bunn made a mistake, we was bringing on a striker and out of Westwood and Gardner we needed to keep the more defensive player on aka Westwood. We can't keep gifting teams points with mistakes but the way your talking the midfield will never be good enough we may aswell give up now, and there's still 120 points to play for!

All we are doing is expressing our opinions.
What I said about Westwood and Gardener I fully stand by.
That is that Westwood has never been or ever will be quite good enough if we are to seriously challenge for promotion.
As far a Gardener is concerned I'm not picking on him. He's an easy option at the moment yes, because so far this season he's been nowhere near good enough. He's been substituted in every game that he's started I think. Certainly 2 or 3 times. Stand to be corrected.
I really hope he comes good. He's a Villa boy of 24 years as opposed to my 60! .

Totally agree Andy.

Fair point all opinions! I just appreciated his desire to atone for his errors and move the ball forward into attacking positions, much prefer him than Westwood yesterday.

Neither of them are good enough for this team, i was sat in the Doug Ellis stand on the half way line quite high up and from there it was plain to see there was a gap in the middle! With stronger guys in there we would have ripped Forest to shreds, we dominated as it was. I predict we will beat someone 6- 0 soon.
