I see Jack has been publicly told by Pep that he will only return to the starting lineup once his performances improve. Ouch. Presumably he's not still behaving like a naive party animal - that would be madness given the depth and quality of their squad? ?

I don't think he will ever change. Nice guy, great footballer, but just wants to party all the time. I don't think Unai Emery would have him back at Villa, if the chance every came.

A big part of Jacks problems, are self inflicted. But also Pep has played his part, everyone loved Jack with his style of play . Jack ran the show at Villa, but Pep has knocked all that out of him . A lot of Jacks off field antics, could be caused by the fact he’s not happy . At Villa everybody loved him, now he’s just another player in a big squad, not getting a game .

If Jack's off field antics are caused by being unhappy, that would imply he was unhappy at Villa too.
I think his antics are as a result of still having a little bit of growing up to do and just being a 'lad' rather than a top level pro. His career and his choice, but would be a shame to not see him fulfil his full potential.
