I know that we are all a tad annoyed about the manner of last night's defeat and it's a missed opportunity without a doubt, but if anyone had told us at the beginning of December that with the games we had coming up against City, Arsenal, Sheffield Utd and Man Utd that we would have taken 7 out of the 12 points on offer would we have taken it? I for one certainly would, and in fairness but for VAR it would have been 9 out of 12 so let's not blow one bad performance out of perspective. I do agree though that the next few games will test Emery as a coach as clubs now will have worked out how to make life more difficult for us and it will be down to us to break them down do we have the players to do that I think we do but we shall no doubt see over the next few weeks, and first up Burnley may provide a more difficult test than there league position suggests.
