Lets hope that was just a bad day on too nxt game now, i do hope we sign a few players, its only 1 game its not like its our 10th game, we will still be in top8 in my opinion only thing iam worried about is the high line we play its so risky .in unai we trust an UTV

Agree with you Jonny, top coaches like Howe will always find a way to beat different systems, the question is, is Emery good enough to counter this, or does he not play his highline. I personally think its now too risky as ever team will now be focused on beating this and teams will get through and score goals, just take Barnes goal, this highlighted how easy it was down our right to break the high line. Of course its only one game, however there were worrying signs. My biggest frustration is that Emery has known since he joined us that we needed a right back, yet some 9 months on we are still vulnerable down the right with Bailey and Cash. Everyone (or nearly everyone) can see this yet Emery keeps to the same personnel who still are the weakness.
My hope is that someone comes in for Bailey and Cash and takes any chance of Emery being able to pick either of them.And before any say its only one game, i have been saying this for a long time, so it's not an emotional reaction to yesterday's poor show, remember, the signs have been there last season.

Its 1 game neve and we were playing ncastle top6 games are bonus points I've always said that its games against urlot and everton we should be winning, nothing to gloat about or worry about its the 1st game of the season villa will be up there after 10 games ul see ?

Howe is a good coach but Emery is I would argue a class above Howe, you just have to look at the CV’s to see that. Trophy’s have a higher currency than individual fixtures. Good coaches teams get turned over every now and again remember we put 7 past Klopp’s Liverpool it didn’t make him a bad coach or Liverpool a bad team the key thing is how the players respond to the defeat.
