Phil McNulty, the BBC’s chief football writer is predicting that we will finish 5th - above both Chelsea and Spurs - so why would Dougie jump ship to either of those? ?

My preferred option is for Luiz to stay, but if he wants to go I can’t see him going to Spurs so it would be Arsenal he would end up at. I agree with previous posters that his value in todays market has to be £60 million plus therefore I would be tempted to ask for Tierney and ESR plus a small cash adjustment in our favour. By all accounts Emery doesn’t particularly rate Digne, so I would offer him to Forest for Johnson and obviously we would have to make up the valuation shortfall. I would then move to replace Luiz if we could with Amrabat and we could fund the outlay by selling Dendoncker, Coutinho, Traore, and dare I say it Bailey (who despite others on here I think is a decent player but whose numbers don’t stack up when compared to Johnson’s) All ifs, buts and maybe’s but as they say who knows what will happen??♂️
