Just read an article suggesting Philogene's agent is in talks with Liverpool over a move for the winger.
Given this lad has had such a positive pre-season I find it hard to imagine we would be prepared to let him go.
This would not be good for us.

Think his contract ends in 2024, unless we have an option of an additional year which hasn't been reported. Hope not, but the agent could be using that and the club might need to act.

Look what happend to Chukie, these youngsters need to be careful with agents sole intention to make money, yes for both parties, however not always for the best long term interest of the player.

Agents, money grabbing shysters, rarely is it in the players interest, they look after themselves. Watching the recent Benteke interview, he’s a perfect example. Brilliant season with us, so his agent decided to move him on . Never reached the same level again, away from Villa . Listening to the interview, it didn’t seem as if Benteke actually wanted to leave .

Can't see there being a shred of truth in this one, the Ramsey rumour however, that looks like it has legs - Could be a very good deal all round for Villa, Prem experience for a player who wouldn't get it at Villa, 12M to put towards a new addition, supports FFP and you'd imagine we'll have a reasonable buy back included incase he really shines. Win, Win!

It also looks like Aaron Ramsey could be on his way. £12m being mentioned to join Burnley. This one I don’t mind. It would be a shame but he hasn’t impressed as prominently as Philogene during the friendlies.

Philogene isn't good enough. 1st touch not good, movement not there. Archer also lacking at top level. Might be useful against lnferior opposition in the cups but not top quality or top potential.
