Would add a much needed injection of speed and versatility in the front line - Diaby oddly more of an educated gamble, I think Johnson (at the right price) could be very exciting. Both want to come it sounds like, fingers crossed we can get the deal done, bring in a RB and a backup keeper, the we've had an exceptional window. If we lose the likes of Dendonker and Digne they'll need to be replaced as well of course but assuming we don't lose anybody, we are in a great position if we close the above deals.

I think it will one or the other VJ. Can’t see us spending thick end of £100m on 2 similar players/positions. But, you never know?

I agree I can’t see us spending £100 million on 2 wingers, I think Diaby is the no1 target and Johnson the back up although it’s interesting that Forest are apparently interested in signing Willian. With regards the Belgian kid, I would rather we look to pay a little bit more and try to get ESR (and Tierney for that matter) out of Arsenal. With all they have spent and they are still looking to add even more to the squad they must have to sell a few to balance the books.

I wonder, Johnson is a name that hae been consistent all window, we are clearly interested in him, I wouldn't be surprised to see both come in. They are versatile players (Johnson in particular) and we have a lot of games this season, wouldn't be surprised if we are after both but if it's only one of them and a more orthodox striker then that works for me also :-)

I agree we need depth as well as quality, and both would be welcome additions but just can’t see us spending close to £100m on 2 similar players. One or the other for me.

I think they offer similar versatility though AvFc but it wouldn't like it would be it's one or the other on match day, you could fit both in the same 11 - That's why I think there could be truth in the fact we are after both.

Can’t see us taking both not with Bailey on the books, and despite a lot of concerns about his performances Emery appears to see something in Bailey others don’t.

Before we bought Bailey his YouTube highlights are basically copy and paste for Diaby, but Diaby would be £20M+ more for us to moan about, I’d walk away from it, fool me once…
