So the kids can't have the same shirts as the players and grown ups, i read this is a small price to pay for the money we are to receive. I remember when our sponsor was Acorns a local hospice which was at no cost to the charity, I though gambling sponsors were to be phased out, obviously not. Any views guys?

The ban doesn’t start until the end of the deal we have with them, if we are to compete financially with the bigger clubs we have to explore every avenue available, yes it promotes gambling but it’s no worse than players promoting cheating in the game ie diving, rolling around trying to con the ref or indeed the treatment and disrespect showed to officials by top players.

Whack read why Norwich ditched them, money at any cost doesn't work for me, i wouldn't want my teenage grandkids watching anything associated with this company and with the net, this is virtually impossible, so Aston Villa you purport yourself as a family club, you have failed miserably with this deal.

I agree on the gambling link Scottie. There’s plenty of other big corporate sponsors out there not related to gambling. Mobile phone companies for one. Unfortunately Purslow was leading the charge on getting gambling sponsorship out. Could be one of the reasons he went ?

MD its not just the gambling, they use sex in their promotions on line that's why Norwich ditched them, hence my reference to families.
